[Report] "Delicious Food and Stunning Views"... 'Royal Park City' That Rivals Luxury Resorts

Providing Three Meals Service for All Ages

"I convinced my wife that she could reduce the effort of preparing meals, so we signed a contract for 'Wanggil Station Royal Park City.'

Mr. A, a man in his 40s working in Incheon, was moved by the resident services at 'Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio' and went as far as signing a contract. He liked the 삼식 (three meals) service, which provides three affordable meals a day, the most. This service is not available even in Songdo, known as the 'Gangnam of Incheon.' Nowadays, when a bowl of cold noodles or bibimbap at a restaurant exceeds 10,000 won, residents can enjoy a hearty and delicious meal for 9,000 won. Relatives visiting can also use the service. Non-residents pay 11,000 won per meal. DK Asia, which first provided the 삼식 service in this complex in Incheon, plans to offer the same service at Wanggil Station Royal Park City.

On the evening of the 18th around 6 PM, the community center lounge at Geomam Station Royal Park City Prugio was already bustling with people having their meals. Couples with children and mothers were noticeable. That evening’s menu included rice, seaweed soup, stir-fried pork (main side dish), kimchi, sweet potato glazed with syrup, and salad. Except for the main side dish, it was a buffet style where residents could serve themselves as much as they wanted. If they felt it was not enough, they could take more. The high ceilings, soft lighting, and gentle music enhanced the appetite, making it feel like being at a resort. After the meal, residents enjoyed desserts at the caf? upstairs connected by the lounge stairs.

DK Asia emphasized, "You can enjoy healthy meals provided by Pulmuone at an affordable price. This service caters to busy dual-income couples, housewives struggling with childcare, and middle-aged people who find preparing every meal burdensome."

Among the community facilities, there was also a space that could be used as a banquet hall. The rental fee is structured to be returned to the residents through shared management fees. When one door of the banquet hall was opened, stairs led to the rooftop. From there, the Baekseok Bridge illuminated with colorful lights was visible at a glance. Although it was still a chilly night, some residents came out to enjoy the night view.

Installation of Landscape Lighting on 'Baekseok Bridge'

The reason Baekseok Bridge could shine like this was largely due to DK Asia’s efforts. They installed specialized landscape lighting along a 4 km section of Baekseok Bridge and Bongsu-daero using their own funds. This is the first case of a private company landscaping urban infrastructure rather than a local government. DK Asia stated, "We put in this effort to erase the image that 'Seo-gu, Incheon is dark.'" They were inspired by Busan’s Gwangandaegyo Bridge, which installed landscape lighting to enhance regional value and contribute to economic revitalization. Additionally, to improve urban aesthetics, design elements were applied to the retaining walls between Wanggil Overpass and Andongpo Intersection. It was also decided to plant Chinese fringe trees and king cherry trees along the roadside trees in the area.

Not only the road leading from Baekseok Bridge to the apartment complex but also within the complex, specialized design elements stood out. The complex was surrounded by pillar-shaped lights made in-house. The exotic atmosphere made the aspiration to be a ‘Resort Special City’ feel tangible. DK Asia has a dedicated lighting department and is putting great effort into enhancing aesthetics. At the Wanggil Station Royal Park City site under construction, numerous large and small lights have been installed, from the lighting surrounding the complex to internal firefly lights. Since this complex will have as many as 13,000 households, gardens will be created across four zones. Circular capsules that emit light through lighting have been installed in these gardens. Residents can enjoy food or refreshments here with family and friends as if camping.

A DK Asia official said, "Currently, the Geomam Station complex provides shuttle bus service to the subway station at a rate of one bus every 10 minutes during commuting hours, and furthermore, we plan to introduce yacht services traveling along the Ara Waterway at the Wanggil Station complex." He added, "Construction costs continue to rise, so higher costs will be required to enjoy such resident services in the future," and explained, "The Geomam Station and Wanggil Station Royal Park City complexes, which provide top-tier residential services, will become increasingly rare."
