Last December, the headquarters purchased 70,000 tulip bulbs, underwent peeling and other preparation processes, and planted them over an area of approximately 4,000㎡ within the park's tulip garden.

These tulip bulbs, consisting of 11 varieties including Apelton, which have endured the cold winter, will begin to bloom in earnest starting this week.

It is expected to showcase the splendid and majestic beauty of spring flowers to visitors of the park.

Starting with these spring tulips, citizens will be able to enjoy a variety of summer and autumn flower festivals within the ecological park.

▲ In the Samnak, Hwamyung, and Daejeo Ecological Park areas, flower beds of cosmos and zinnia will be established; ▲ at the Metasequoia Road hydrangea garden in Hwamyung Ecological Park, hydrangeas will bloom; ▲ and ▲ lotus flower beds will be arranged around the wetlands within the ecological park, providing visitors with diverse attractions.

Park Young-bok, head of the Park Business Division at Busan City Nakdong River Management Headquarters, said, “We hope everyone welcomes a spring full of hope by viewing the tulips that have overcome the long winter,” and added, “We will continue to plant various flowers each season within the ecological park to provide beautiful sights continuously.”
