Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, announced on the 16th that he accepts the decision of the Nomination Management Committee to dismiss his objection to the primary election in Seoul Jung-Seongdong.
On the same day, Ha said on his Facebook, "I accept the decision of our party's Nomination Management Committee."
Ha emphasized, "Some people ask me if I will leave the party, but that will never happen. If there is any way I can contribute to the party, even in a small way, I will gladly dedicate myself."
He added, "Just as I declared my challenge in Seoul last fall for the party's victory in the metropolitan area, my determination remains the same."
The Nomination Management Committee dismissed Ha's objection, which claimed that former lawmaker Lee Hye-hoon, who won the primary in Seoul Jung-Seongdong, committed fraudulent acts, and maintained the nomination of former lawmaker Lee.
