In his commemorative speech at the '64th Anniversary of the March 15th Movement Ceremony' held at the 3·15 Art Center in Changwon, Gyeongnam, Prime Minister Han stated, "We will firmly root the values of liberal democracy in all areas of our society and further strengthen solidarity with the international community to spread democracy."

The March 15th Movement was a democratization movement that took place on March 15, 1960, in Masan, protesting against the fraudulent election conducted by the Liberal Party regime of former President Syngman Rhee.

Prime Minister Han expressed his gratitude, saying, "The citizens of Masan rose together to save our democracy by condemning the blatant fraudulent election at the time, and the united cry of the citizens resisting injustice became the aspiration of our people, ultimately blossoming into the great spring of the April 19th Revolution."

He also promised to share Korea's democratization experience and actively discuss democracy for future generations on the occasion of the 3rd Democracy Summit to be held in Seoul from the 18th to the 20th.

Regarding regional development, he said, "We will support the vigorous development of the Gyeongnam region, including Changwon Special City," and explained, "Gyeongnam's nuclear power industry is an important growth engine and a core of energy security in the era of climate crisis. We aim to build a solid foundation as a leading nuclear power country by supporting the defense-nuclear convergence national industrial complex and the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) cluster."

He added, "We will accelerate regulatory innovation such as greenbelt and industrial complex site regulations and further strengthen support for research and development (R&D) investment."
