[Featured Stock] Saltlux Demonstrates Performance of Self-Developed LLM 'Lucia'... New Record in Common Sense Ability

Saltlux is showing strong performance. Saltlux's self-developed ultra-large language model LUXIA has broken existing records on Hugging Face's Open LLM Leaderboard, achieving the number one position worldwide, which appears to be influencing its stock price.

As of 10:06 AM on the 15th, Saltlux was trading at 30,800 KRW, up 6,500 KRW (26.75%) compared to the previous trading day.

Saltlux stated that LUXIA's recent achievement was ranked among language models under 35B parameters, with an average score of approximately 77.74 points. Even when considering all ultra-large models, it ranked 4th worldwide, surpassing large-scale models with over 50B parameters. A Saltlux representative explained that it demonstrated overwhelming performance superior to top models despite having fewer parameters, as well as cost-effectiveness.

The scores for 'common sense ability (HellaSwag)' and 'reasoning ability (ARC)' tests were 91.88 and 77.47 respectively, marking unprecedented scores. Currently, the 21.4B LUXIA model has attracted significant attention, recording over 500 downloads within three days of being uploaded to Hugging Face. Kim Jae-eun, head of Saltlux's lab, announced plans to additionally release the base version of the 21.4B LUXIA model.

The LUXIA Korean language model also achieved RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and summarization evaluation scores far exceeding those of GPT3.5-turbo and open models in Korean self-validation using the Korea National Information Society Agency (NIA) AI HUB evaluation dataset. Based on excellent performance evaluation scores, including over 90% accuracy in RAG-based question answering, Saltlux is rapidly advancing LLM adoption projects with various institutions and companies.

Saltlux is conducting industry-academic cooperation with Konkuk University’s Natural Language Processing Laboratory (Professor Kim Hak-su) to research new model training and knowledge editing technologies that can significantly improve the freshness, factuality, and security of knowledge, which is expected to be the world's first case.

A company representative stated, "At this year's Saltlux AI Conference, our annual event, we will officially unveil an innovative LLM that overwhelmingly surpasses the current LUXIA," adding, "As a leading domestic AI company, we will continue to secure superlative competitiveness to dominate the global AI market."
