Selected as Operator of Global Startup Academy
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) announced on the 15th that it held an on-site meeting at the Global Startup Academy located in Guro, Seoul, to promote the successful implementation of the Global 5G Program.
In February, SBC recruited regional operators to carry out the 'Global 5G Program,' which includes preparing entrepreneurs for globalization and establishing commercialization strategies for overseas expansion countries. As a result of the selection, 500 Global Management Korea was chosen as the operator for the North America and Middle East regions, and FuturePlay was selected as the operator for the Europe and Asia regions.
Through the 'Global 5G Program,' SBC and the operators plan to provide customized overseas expansion support programs by country, including ▲global expansion strategy coaching and mentoring ▲local programs linked with global accelerators ▲support for global investment attraction.
Jo Han-gyo, Director of Human Resources Development at SBC, said, “The Global 5G Program is a program that supports entrepreneurs from preliminary diagnosis for overseas expansion to local entry and investment attraction,” adding, “We will actively assist domestic startups to successfully enter the global market by cooperating with top-tier accelerators at home and abroad.”
