LG Uplus is offering benefits such as 'Baedal Minjok' delivery app gift certificates and 'Galaxy SmartTag2' to customers who purchase Galaxy AI smartphones.

On the 15th, LG Uplus announced that starting from that day, the first 1,000 customers who purchase Galaxy AI update-eligible phone models on its official online mall 'Uplus.com' will receive a 30,000 KRW 'Baedal Minjok' gift certificate. The eligible models include ▲Galaxy S24 series ▲Galaxy S23 series ▲Galaxy S23 FE ▲Galaxy Z Galaxy Flip and Fold5. Customers can automatically enter the event by participating in a quiz related to Samsung Electronics' mobile AI platform 'Galaxy AI' on the Uplus.com event page and then applying for consultation and activation.

Customers who receive the gift certificate can also enjoy the 'Galaxy AI Promotion Benefits' offered by Samsung Electronics. Samsung will provide a 'Galaxy SmartTag2,' an accessory that enables location tracking via smartphone, to customers who purchase smartphones eligible for the Galaxy AI update. By attaching the SmartTag2 to bags, bicycles, or pets, users can track their location in real time, reducing the risk of loss.

LG Uplus will also increase the official subsidy for the Galaxy S24. Previously, only customers using the 5G Premier Super plan (115,000 KRW/month) or higher could receive up to 500,000 KRW in subsidies, but from this day forward, customers on the 5G Premier Essential plan (85,000 KRW/month) can also receive the highest level of subsidies. The official subsidy for the 5G Standard plan (75,000 KRW/month) has been raised to 442,000 KRW, and for the 5G Light+ plan (55,000 KRW/month), it has been increased to 326,000 KRW, up by 85,000 KRW and 57,000 KRW respectively.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics will begin rolling out the One UI 6.1 software update at the end of this month for ▲Galaxy S23 series ▲Galaxy S23 FE ▲Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 ▲Galaxy Tab S9 series to expand support for 'Galaxy AI.' Users of these models will be able to use 'Galaxy AI' features such as real-time translation, chat assist, Circle to Search, Note Assist, and generative editing.
