Golf culture is gradually changing. It is shifting from a personal hobby to a family leisure activity. Golf is no longer just a pleasure for golfers but a sport to enjoy with family. Due to this change, a golf course being good alone is not the best. There must be food and sights along with excellent field conditions. We introduce the ‘Field 3GO’ golf courses suitable for spending happy times with golf.

[Field 3GO] Rainbow Hills CC, the 'Pebble Beach of Korea' Rainbow Hills CC is a luxury public course with 27 holes designated as 'Signature Holes.'

◆EnjoyGO= Rainbow Hills CC, located in Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk, is a recently hot golf course. It opened in 2008. Since 2021, it has hosted the DB Group Korea Women's Open (total prize money of 1.2 billion KRW), a national title tournament. This year, it will be held for four days starting June 13. It is a luxury public golf course operated by DB Group. Although the land is spacious enough for 54 holes (2,876,033㎡), it contains only 27 holes.

It was designed by the world-renowned course designer Robert Trent Jones Jr. (RTJ). He supervised all aspects from the initial stage to completion. He has created over 200 courses in 38 countries worldwide and designed 13 of the top 100 golf clubs in the United States. Rainbow Hills CC maximizes the natural features and terrain characteristics.

Rainbow Hills CC is a strategic and challenging course. The fairways are narrow, and there are many obstacles such as ponds and bunkers, requiring precise and strategic play. High-quality Kentucky bluegrass, a cool-season grass, was planted. The fairways boast top playing conditions. The rough is made of tall fescue. The rough around the fairways is long and tough, making it difficult to find the ball if it goes in. The green speed averages 3.0.

Beautiful waterfalls and terraced lakes located throughout Rainbow Hills CC enhance the course’s appeal. The tall fescue grass sways like waves in the wind, providing an exotic atmosphere. The deep valleys and mountain ranges harmonized with the course, along with wildflowers scattered here and there, create a picturesque landscape. The course excludes artificial beauty as much as possible and blends harmoniously with the surrounding nature. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from the Gangnam area of Seoul.
