Daishin Securities forecasted on the 14th that Techwing will experience explosive sales growth in its new business of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) test handlers. No investment opinion or target price was provided.
Researcher Han Song-hyeop of Daishin Securities stated, "Although the stock price has risen rapidly recently, assuming growth in the HBM market and securing additional customers, higher-than-market-expected top-line growth is possible."
Han explained that the core of this year's sales growth is the HBM test handler called 'Cube Prober.' He said, "Although the sales proportion was low as of last year, rapid growth in the HBM market is expected in the future," adding, "We anticipate sales growth of the Cube Prober targeting major customers, global integrated device manufacturers (IDMs)."
He continued, "By utilizing the Cube Prober, it is possible to solve the problems of existing HBM test methods, enabling cost reduction and yield improvement from the customer's perspective," and added, "If additional customers are attracted beyond the currently secured major clients, a sales quantum jump is possible."
Meanwhile, the HBM test handler market size is expected to grow to approximately 150 billion KRW by 2025 and 200 billion KRW by 2027.
