The actual transaction will be conducted on the 14th after the stock market closes, using an off-hours block trade method, based on the closing price of 14,600 KRW on the 13th. The scale of the transaction is approximately 136.6 billion KRW.

Woori Financial plans to cancel all the treasury shares immediately upon acquisition.

This treasury stock purchase is part of the implementation process under the basic agreement on stock transfer signed between Woori Financial and KDIC in October last year. It proceeded after resolutions by the Public Fund Management Committee and Woori Financial’s Board of Directors. By purchasing the remaining shares held by KDIC, Woori Financial completes the repayment process of public funds that began in 1998, marking the end of a 26-year period and achieving full privatization.
