KX Intec, a set-top box specialist company, announced on the 13th that it recorded sales of 78.3 billion KRW and an operating profit of 5.4 billion KRW in 2023. This represents growth of 40% and 78%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
Domestic sales amounted to 52 billion KRW, and overseas sales were 26.3 billion KRW, showing increases of 71% and 4%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
KX Intec is a set-top box manufacturer supplying products to SK Broadband and satellite operators domestically. It exports to more than 30 countries overseas, including Angola, Tanzania, and Argentina.
KX Intec is strengthening research and development related to healthcare using artificial intelligence through collaboration with the US-based AI NEXUS.
The contactless AI NEXUS health diagnostic platform has secured core technology capable of measuring simple respiratory rate, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, as well as detecting respiratory diseases, blood pressure, diabetes diagnosis, and symptoms.
