Kyobo Securities Signs Eco-Friendly Business Agreement with Social Cooperative Hangang

The social cooperative Hangang has been entrusted with the operation of Yeouiseotgang Ecological Park since 2020 to revitalize the park. Through this business agreement, they plan to actively cooperate in protecting the ecosystem of Yeouiseotgang Park, environmental improvement projects, and operating employee volunteer programs.

At the same time, they will participate in various eco-friendly programs for biodiversity conservation, including ▲planting aquatic plants in Changpowon ▲saving young willows ▲creating sculptural biotopes within the ecological park ▲managing invasive plant species.

Lee Seok-ki, CEO of Kyobo Securities, said, "As guardians of Yeouido’s environment, we will work together with our employees to create a healthy stream," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility by practicing eco-friendly activities to preserve the urban ecosystem and coexist with nature."

Kyobo Securities conducted a wooden fence repair activity at Yeouiseotgang Ecological Park last November and plans to carry out employee volunteer programs starting in April.
