PSY's 'Gangnam Style' Holds Second Longest Solo Record for 31 Weeks

Group BTS member Jungkook has entered the US Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100' for 18 consecutive weeks, setting the second longest entry record for a Korean solo artist.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on the 12th (local time), Jungkook's solo album title track 'Standing Next to You' rose two spots from the previous week to rank 85th.
'Standing Next to You' first entered the 'Hot 100 (November 18, 2023 issue)' at number 5 and has remained on the chart for 18 consecutive weeks.
The 18-week entry on the 'Hot 100' is the second longest record in history for a Korean solo artist, following Psy's mega-hit 'Gangnam Style,' which stayed on the chart for 31 weeks.
Among Jungkook's released songs, the track that stayed on the 'Hot 100' the longest after 'Standing Next to You' is the collaboration with Charlie Puth, 'Left and Right,' which charted for 17 weeks. Jungkook's solo debut song and global hit 'Seven' entered this chart for 15 weeks.
BLACKPINK's Jennie, who collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on the US drama 'The Idol' OST 'One Of The Girls,' dropped four spots from the previous week to rank 55th on the 'Hot 100,' remaining on the chart for the 11th week.
On the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200,' TWICE's 'With YOU-th' ranked 35th, entering the top 40 for the second consecutive week. LE SSERAFIM's 'EASY' ranked 50th, BTS Jungkook's 'GOLDEN' ranked 90th, and (G)I-DLE's '2' ranked 132nd, respectively.
