Chosun University Recruiting Beneficiary Companies for Clinical Validation-Linked Dental Medical Industry Support

The Chosun University Dental Industry Advancement Support Center is promoting the 2024 "Clinical Verification-Linked Dental Medical Materials and Components Industry Advancement Project" corporate support program to advance the local dental medical materials and components industry through the establishment of a platform that supports clinical and non-clinical verification bases and product advancement linkage.

Supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Gwangju City, the "Clinical Verification-Linked Dental Medical Materials and Components Industry Advancement Project" is led by the Chosun University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, with participation from the Gwangju Technopark Foundation and Gwangju Health University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation. According to each institution’s specialized field, a budget of 9.1 billion KRW will be invested by 2025 to establish a clinical and non-clinical verification and usability evaluation system and a product advancement manufacturing support platform based on verification data.

This project aims to contribute to increasing sales and creating new markets for local companies by supporting digital technology-based product advancement and commercialization for companies related to the dental medical materials and components industry in Gwangju using the established platform. The program offers companies ▲clinical IRB execution support ▲clinical verification and usability evaluation support ▲non-clinical verification and usability evaluation support ▲support for manufacturing improved dental clinical verification products ▲support for manufacturing improved dental laboratory materials and components verification products ▲prototype manufacturing and product advancement support ▲clinical expert-linked idea product development support programs. As of 2023, 39 programs for 19 companies have been supported.

Son Mi-kyung, director of the Chosun University Dental Industry Advancement Support Center, stated, "Through the 2024 Clinical Verification-Linked Dental Medical Materials and Components Industry Advancement Project corporate support program, we will actively support product development based on verification so that dental medical companies in Gwangju can grow to the next level."

Meanwhile, the 2024 Clinical Verification-Linked Dental Medical Materials and Components Industry Advancement Project will recruit beneficiary companies for the program from March 11 to 29, 2024. Interested companies can check the announcement through the websites of the Chosun University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, the Gwangju Technopark Foundation, and the Gwangju Health University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.
