- New Samgye Station on Gimhae Light Rail to be Developed as a Simple Platform

Daewoo E&C is currently conducting first-come, first-served contracts for the remaining units of ‘Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park,’ located in the Samgye-dong area of Gimhae City, Gyeongsangnam-do.
This complex has recently attracted attention from prospective buyers as Gimhae City announced plans to change the new station construction for the Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit (LRT) Samgye-dong station to a simplified platform type. Gimhae City initially intended to build a new station in Samgye-dong at the request of LRT users, but due to insufficient project feasibility, the new station construction faced difficulties. The city plans to reduce project costs and improve citizen transportation convenience by proceeding with the Samgye Station as a simplified platform. Basic and detailed designs, as well as permits and approvals, are scheduled to be commissioned starting March.
‘Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park’ will be built in the Samgye-dong area of Gimhae City, Gyeongsangnam-do, consisting of six buildings ranging from three basement floors to 28 above-ground floors, offering a total of 630 units for general sale. The units are composed by exclusive area as follows: △84㎡A 118 units △84㎡B 87 units △84㎡C 268 units △84㎡D 26 units △110㎡ 131 units.
The average sale price per 3.3㎡ is 14.86 million KRW, and only a 5% down payment is required (a first in Gimhae). The first installment is a fixed amount of 5 million KRW, significantly reducing the down payment burden, and interest-free benefits are provided for up to 60% of the sale price during the intermediate payment period. Unlimited resale is also allowed.
‘Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park’ is located within approximately a 5-minute drive from the center of Gimhae. Additionally, the Mugye-Samgye national road bypass, including sections between Juchon-myeon and Samgye-dong, is partially scheduled to open around July 2024, with full opening expected by the end of 2025, enhancing regional transportation connectivity. The planned Samgye Station, which will be constructed as a simplified platform, is expected to improve LRT access for residents in the Samgye-dong area within three years, considering the construction period. Furthermore, access to highways via Gwangjae IC and Seo Gimhae IC is convenient, and the nearby Busan-Gimhae LRT Gayadae Station allows easy travel to the Busan metropolitan area.
Educational conditions and surrounding infrastructure are excellent. Sinmyeong Elementary School is within walking distance, and the school district covers elementary, middle, and high schools including Bunseong Middle School, Bunseong High School, and Gusan High School. Notably, the complex is close to the Jangsin University Station academy district and various educational infrastructures such as Hwajeong Geulsaem Library are nearby.
The Samgye-dong central commercial area near Jangsin University Station, large marts, hospitals, and various living convenience facilities are close by, providing a convenient lifestyle. The complex is located in a forest zone surrounded by Bunseongsan and Gyeongunsan mountains, with nearby walking trails along Haebancheon Stream and Gimhae Citizen Sports Park.
Gimhae is known as a stronghold for ‘Prugio’ apartments. Daewoo E&C aims to maintain its local reputation and elevate the brand’s status by offering a differentiated complex that reflects residents’ needs through design and community facilities.
The complex applies a south-facing, plate-type layout (84A, 84B, 110) and mixed-type layout (84D), as well as a two-sided open design (84C) to maximize natural lighting, sunlight exposure, and views. ‘Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park’ also introduces Daewoo E&C’s unique fine dust reduction system, the ‘Five Zones Clean Air System.’ This system divides the complex into five zones: complex entrance, underground parking lot, building entrances, elevators, and inside units, providing alert services for fine dust pollution levels in each zone and effectively blocking fine dust with a clean air system.
A Daewoo E&C sales official stated, “Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park is a complex surrounded by a pleasant forest zone and shares the infrastructure of the Samgye central commercial area. Once the simplified platform Samgye Station is established to improve LRT convenience, it will become an optimal residential location.”
The model house for ‘Gimhae Samgye Prugio Central Park’ is located in Samjeong-dong, Gimhae City, and the expected move-in date is April 2027.
