Boseong-gun to Provide 200,000 Won Entrance Celebration Money for Elementary School Students

Applications Accepted at Eupmyeon Offices in School Locations Starting from the 11th

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is providing a 200,000 KRW enrollment congratulatory savings incentive to elementary school entrants within the district.

Since the 11th, Boseong-gun has been supporting a 200,000 KRW enrollment congratulatory savings incentive for elementary school entrants in the district, and applications can be made at the industrial team of the town or township office where the school is located until March 29.

Applicants must bring a bankbook in the student's name, an ID of the applicant (such as a guardian), and documents proving guardian status (such as a family relation certificate or a private foster care certificate).

Considering the economic difficulties faced by local residents due to rising prices and economic recession, Boseong-gun started providing 20,000 KRW in 2014 and has been supporting 200,000 KRW since 2022 to actively respond to the risk of local extinction.

Meanwhile, the enrollment congratulatory savings incentive is an annual grant provided under the Boseong-gun Population Policy Support Ordinance to respond to the population decline crisis caused by low birth rates, rural exodus, and aging, and to promote early establishment of economic awareness such as students' thrift and saving habits.
