During the briefing, Kim Jae-hyun, an instructor from the Korea Industrial Safety Education Center, explained measures to respond to the Serious Accident Punishment Act, methods for conducting risk assessments, and examples of punishments, followed by a Q&A session with the attendees.
The city expects this briefing to serve as an opportunity for small and micro businesses to better understand the Serious Accident Punishment Act and enhance their safety management capabilities.
Additionally, the city plans to promote practical government support measures to help small and medium-sized enterprises prepare thoroughly for the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
A city official stated, “It is necessary to establish a safety and health management system centered on management responsibility and to ensure legal compliance through attention and effort, which will become a valuable asset for companies in the future.”
