He stated, "In the spirit of symbolizing national innovative growth and the future, we have also appointed Gong Young-woon and Hwang Jeong-ah," and added, "As a symbol of party unity, former Secretary-General Lee Kwang-jae and floor leader Hong Ik-pyo will participate as co-chairs." Furthermore, he said, "We plan to establish a Public Participation Committee within the campaign committee and include its chairperson," explaining, "The concept of the Public Participation Committee will be explained in more detail once the campaign committee is launched, but it is intended to allow various voices from the public to be directly expressed through the Democratic Party's campaign committee. We will invite or recommend individuals who represent the difficult stories under this regime that many citizens are concerned about. Currently, we are considering having about one fixed member and rotating one member each session or week." Additionally, Kim Yong-man, director of the Korean Provisional Government Commemoration Association, Representative Lee So-young, and Representative Kim Yong-min will participate as co-chairs.

Meanwhile, regarding former Presidential Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok, who has expressed his intention to work in the campaign committee in a supportive role, it was reported, "There has been a suggestion that it would be good if he participates as a co-chair," and "Former Prime Minister Kim said he will try to have a conversation about it."
