Comedian Kim Su-yong has suffered the loss of his father. This comes about six months after the passing of his mother.

On the 11th, Kim Su-yong's agency, Media Lab Siso, announced, "Kim Su-yong's father passed away at the age of 90. We ask for warm condolences and consideration so that he can have time to mourn."

The deceased's funeral hall has been set up at Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall. Kim Su-yong is staying at the funeral hall as the chief mourner, and considering the mourning atmosphere, visits from mourners are restricted from 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM the following day.

Kim Su-yong debuted in 1991 as a comedian in the 7th class of KBS public recruitment. He is known to be a classmate of broadcasters Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Guk-jin, Park Soo-hong, and Kim Yong-man.

Previously, Kim Su-yong lost his mother in September of last year. It is reported that he has expressed filial piety and affection for his parents through various broadcasting programs. Fans continue to offer their condolences to him, having lost both his mother and father within about six months.
