Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Spain, SEDECAL is a global X-ray OEM specialist. It supplies X-ray systems to leading global medical device companies such as GE Healthcare, Siemens, Philips, and Agfa. With manufacturing subsidiaries based in the United States and France, SEDECAL holds an excellent position across the entire X-ray business sector.

Under this contract, VUNO will supply VUNO Med Chest X-ray to SEDECAL. SEDECAL plans to integrate VUNO's AI solution into its X-ray systems and sell them in major overseas markets. SEDECAL completed product integration in January and placed the first purchase order for the initial shipment.

VUNO Med Chest X-ray is an AI solution that detects major abnormal findings such as nodules, consolidation, interstitial shadows, pleural effusion, and pneumothorax in chest X-ray images with high accuracy. It assists medical professionals by providing the names and locations of abnormal findings to aid in diagnosing major lung diseases such as tuberculosis and pneumonia. Developed as a lightweight model, it is characterized by easy integration with various X-ray equipment.

The two companies plan to focus on selling X-ray systems integrated with the AI solution in major European countries and then expand their sales network to other regions including South America, the Middle East, and Africa.

Lee Ye-ha, CEO of VUNO, said, “By collaborating with SEDECAL, which has an excellent global network, we have strengthened the B2B business of VUNO Med Chest X-ray and laid the foundation to accelerate overseas achievements, especially in the European region. As we solidify business strategies tailored to the characteristics of each product and our sales structure is becoming increasingly stable, we will do our best to continue the current trend of performance improvement.”
