Boseong-gun 'Food Culture Academy' Opens

Business Owners and Employees Operating General Restaurants

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that on the 8th, it held the '2024 Food Culture Academy Opening Ceremony' at the Boseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center, attended by over 40 business owners and employees operating general restaurants.


At the opening ceremony, the first lecture was given by Kim Young-gyun, head of the Department of Food Service and Culinary Arts at Honam University, followed by education on cultivating management values (mindset) to adapt to the post-COVID-19 society and cultural exchange education through communication via food.

The '2024 Food Culture Academy' will be held over 6 weeks until April 8, with a total of 10 sessions (20 hours) every Monday and Tuesday in the Boseong-eup and Beolgyo-eup areas, covering various theoretical and practical training such as ▲customer and employee management and courteous service, ▲online promotional marketing, ▲cooking practice using local specialties, and ▲mental healing education.


A Boseong-gun official said, "We plan to provide various benefits such as hygiene supplies support for creating a safe dining environment and field trips to advanced sites, so we ask for the active participation of restaurant business owners."
