The 'Life Industry Innovation Platform Gyeongbuk Bio Industry Research Institute' is looking for companies to move into its apartment-style factory. Companies wishing to move in can apply by the 22nd.
The apartment-style factory of the Gyeongbuk Bio Industry Research Institute is located within the Gyeongbuk Bio General Local Industrial Complex in Pungsan-eup, Andong-si. It allows factory registration upon leasing and is equipped with excellent product manufacturing facilities certified with GMP, HACCP, ISO37001, 9001, and 14001, enabling comprehensive support for the entire growth cycle of small and medium-sized enterprises in the bio sector.

The rental price is affordable at 6,655 KRW per square meter per month. Tenants can benefit from reduced fees for using the institute's established equipment and share facilities such as laboratories and conference rooms. Various subsidy programs will also be supported through a prescribed screening process.
Eligibility to apply includes bio-industry-related companies and research institutes (including prospective entrepreneurs), excluding businesses that emit harmful substances. Preference will be given during tenant selection to companies headquartered in Gyeongbuk, those certified as venture companies, holders of patents, or companies employing persons with disabilities.
Tenant selection will be objectively evaluated and finalized by a selection committee based on management capability, technical skills, business feasibility, specificity of space utilization plans (investment/personnel, etc.), and connectivity with the institute's infrastructure. Selected companies can sign lease contracts starting from April.
The Gyeongbuk Bio Venture Plaza (rental space) operated by the institute has a scale of one basement floor and three above-ground floors, offering various rental areas ranging from 84㎡ to 200㎡.
