Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Launches Training Program for Electric Vehicle Specialists


Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation announced on the 11th that it is recruiting unemployed Gyeonggi-do residents aged 19 and over to participate in the ‘Electric Vehicle Maintenance Personnel Training Course’ and the ‘Electric Vehicle Charging Facility Operation Personnel Training Course’ until the 21st of this month.


This training focuses on electric vehicle maintenance and charging facility maintenance education to cultivate customized specialists in response to the expanding use of electric vehicles.


The tuition for each course is completely free, and trainees can receive a monthly training allowance of up to 400,000 KRW. Certification acquisition fees and employment support programs are also provided. The training will be conducted face-to-face from April to September at the Gyeonggi-do Technical School located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do.

Kim Sun-young, Head of the Convergence Talent Division at Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "With the rapid increase in electric vehicle usage, we prepared this training to promptly respond to the growing demand for specialists in related fields. Going forward, Gyeonggi-do Technical School will continue to serve as a cradle for nurturing field-customized talent in electric vehicles."


Applications for the training courses can be submitted through the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation’s integrated application system ‘Jobaba Apply’ (https://apply.jobaba.net) until March 21.
