BTEN, Recruiting Demand Companies for the '2024 Data Voucher Support Project'

AI-specialized company B2N (CEO Taeil An) announced on the 11th that it is recruiting demand companies for the ‘2024 Data Voucher Support Project’ organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency.

The ‘Data Voucher Support Project’ is a program that supports data purchase and processing services in the form of vouchers to promote data-based business innovation and AI development and adoption for small and medium-sized enterprises, small business owners, and early-stage mid-sized companies.

Selected as a supply company in the ‘2024 Data Voucher Support Project,’ B2N supports companies that require data preprocessing, labeling, analysis, and quality control necessary for building AI training data.

In particular, high-quality data can be effectively secured together with ‘Laflow,’ a new concept platform that can integrally perform data labeling work and quality control, and ‘SDQ for AI,’ which holds the largest number of domestic references and has been used as an AI training data quality inspection tool by TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association of Korea) for four consecutive years.

B2N has participated in the ‘AI Training Data Syntactic Accuracy Inspection Service’ for four consecutive years, completing quality inspections of over 810 types of AI training data including voice, video, natural language, and images. Especially, it has perfectly conducted quality inspections on content duplication and similarity of corpus data usable for large-scale AI language models represented by ChatGPT.

Park Sunhyuk, head of B2N’s AIX Group, said, “We want to be a practical help to companies struggling with data utilization by forming a dedicated quality control team with core personnel who have rich experience and know-how,” adding, “We will do our best to provide customized services optimized to the demands of demand companies, such as data construction technology consulting and sharing new technology and software technology trends.”

Applications for demand companies, which began on the 27th of last month, will proceed until 6 p.m. on April 1 for purchase and general processing, and until 6 p.m. on April 2 for AI processing, depending on the support category. The project period is about six months from June to November 2024. Demand companies can obtain vouchers such as ▲630 cases for purchase (up to 5 million KRW) ▲160 cases for general processing (up to 32 million KRW) ▲550 cases for AI processing (up to 54 million KRW).
