MCE is the largest HVAC exhibition in Europe held biennially, with over 1,500 companies from 53 countries participating this year. LG Electronics has set up a 432-square-meter booth to showcase residential and commercial heating and cooling HVAC solutions.
In the 'Residential Solutions Zone,' LG will present a total energy solution for a 'Sustainable Home.' It plans to introduce the 'Therma V R290 Monoblock,' a high-efficiency heat pump heating and cooling system that does not use fossil fuels and reduces carbon emissions, meeting the highest A+++ rating under the European ErP (Energy-related Products) energy standards.
Additionally, LG will unveil the new wall-mounted air conditioner Dual Cool, targeting the European residential heating and cooling market, for the first time. Dual Cool features two air outlets on the front and bottom, enabling faster indoor heating and cooling compared to conventional wall-mounted air conditioners. It also holds an A+++ rating under the European ErP energy standards.
In the 'Commercial Solutions Zone,' LG will showcase high-efficiency HVAC products such as the 'Multi V i,' which applies a high-efficiency inverter compressor for excellent energy efficiency, and the large-scale HVAC system 'Inverter Scroll Heat Pump Chiller,' which supplies heating, cooling, and chilled/hot water.
LG Electronics' flagship system air conditioner, Multi V i, delivers optimal heating and cooling depending on the building size, characteristics, and usage. Through a high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) engine, it automatically controls multiple indoor units in one space individually, maintaining a uniform temperature throughout the entire area. For domestic models, the energy consumption efficiency is rated as Grade 1.
The exhibition also features a space where visitors can experience airflow control of key HVAC products using augmented reality (AR). Through AR, visitors can explore LG Electronics' airflow technology that maintains a comfortable indoor temperature while minimizing direct wind contact on the body. Core Tech, LG Electronics' key component technology, including motors and compressors, will also be exhibited.
Lee Jae-sung, Vice President and Head of the Air Solution Business Division at LG Electronics' H&A Business Unit, said, "We will strengthen our pursuit of the European and global markets with LG Electronics' differentiated residential and commercial heating and cooling HVAC solutions equipped with cutting-edge technology."
