Singer Bae Ah-hyun, who ranked second in the popular trot competition program ‘Miss Trot 3,’ has recently been appointed as the public ambassador for Jungnang-gu, drawing attention.

Singer Bae Ah-hyun is a native of Jungnang-gu, having graduated from elementary, middle, and high schools in the district, and currently resides there. She was appointed as the public ambassador for Jungnang-gu in January and is responsible for promoting various district news.

In the final mission of the TV Chosun Miss Trot finale aired on the 7th, Bae Ah-hyun chose Na Hoon-a’s ‘Pyeongyang Ajumma,’ delivering the heartfelt emotion of traditional trot and securing second place with a final score of 2801.29 points.

In particular, she achieved the highest scores in the first round Jin, the fourth round team medley mission in the history of the season, and ranked first in the nationwide public support votes in weeks 6 and 8, emerging as one of the strong contenders for the championship with outstanding performances.

According to reports, many residents of Jungnang-gu actively participated throughout the competition by encouraging their acquaintances to vote via text messages to support Bae Ah-hyun’s final victory as the public ambassador of Jungnang-gu.

Ryu Kyung-gi, mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “Seeing her diligently prepare for each round, our residents of Jungnang-gu anxiously cheered along,” and added, “We hope she will continue to proudly promote Jungnang-gu alongside her singing career.”

Going forward, Bae Ah-hyun will participate in promoting the overall district administration and producing promotional materials as the public ambassador of Jungnang-gu. She is expected to be invited to various district festivals and events such as Mangwoo History and Culture Park, Seoul Rose Festival, and Yongma Waterfall Culture and Arts Festival to carry out diverse promotional activities.
