The Cheolma-myeon Administrative Welfare Center in Gijang-gun, Busan, will regularly operate a health consultation desk called ‘Wednesday is Health Day’ starting from March.
‘Wednesday is Health Day’ is a resident health consultation desk operated for residents visiting the administrative welfare center. It began its first operation on the 6th and is held every Wednesday from 2 PM to 5 PM on the first floor of the myeon office building.
Cheolma-myeon deploys healthcare professionals to conduct basic health measurements such as blood pressure and blood sugar, as well as cognitive screening tests (CIST) and elderly depression tests (SGDS). They provide customized health consultations and health information tailored to each individual, and if necessary, connect them to related institutions, offering various health-related services.
Park Sang-jun, head of Cheolma-myeon, said, “I hope that the customized health consultations will help residents manage their health,” and added, “We will continue to operate the health consultation desk to enhance the convenience of residents using the Cheolma-myeon Administrative Welfare Center and to actively support residents’ health.”
