Female Middle School Student Arrested for Wielding Weapon After Fighting Male Classmate in Front of School

On the 9th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they have arrested and are investigating a female middle school student, A, on charges of special injury for stabbing a male student of the same grade with a weapon during a fight.

According to the police, A is accused of wielding a weapon against her classmate, B, around 6 p.m. the previous day in front of the school gate during an altercation.

B sustained a wound to his abdomen and was taken to a nearby hospital, but his life is not in danger.
