Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Conducts Special Inspections of Construction Sites to Prevent Safety Accidents During Thaw Season

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the construction site of the large-scale complex facility in Seogyo-dong on the afternoon of the 8th to conduct a special safety inspection during the thawing season.

This inspection was carried out to prevent accidents such as ground subsidence, falling rocks, and collapses that may occur due to weakened ground caused by the melting of the frozen surface during winter.

On the day, Mayor Park Gang-su received reports on the progress of the construction and safety management, personally toured the construction site, and inspected the facilities. He also urged construction personnel to comply with safety rules, wear proper equipment, and take fire prevention measures.

Mayor Park Gang-su emphasized, "Special attention is required to prevent safety accidents during the thawing season that comes with spring," and added, "I hope the management department, safety managers, and construction personnel will manage the site more carefully than usual." He continued, "Mapo District will create a safe Mapo without accidents through proactive and thorough inspections."
