Sejong University announced on the 9th that it has been selected for the "Korean Massive Open Online Course (K-MOOC) Strategic Planning Course Project" organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education.
K-MOOC is a service that publicly offers excellent courses online to meet the growing demand for lifelong education in higher education. Sejong University will present three courses in the "University Consortium AI Course" category: ▲ Professor Ryu Seung-hyung's "AI through Industrial Applications," ▲ Professor Kim Jang-gyeom's "Smart Factory Operation Methods Based on Reinforcement Learning," and ▲ Professor Shin Seung-hyeop's "Explainable AI."
The "University Consortium AI Course" is a consortium-type course that links and combines lectures from multiple universities in new technology and new industry fields. It plans and discovers learning materials in new technology and new industry areas, such as AI competency-based artificial intelligence content. Additionally, through consortium AI courses that align with the latest educational trends, it provides learners with new knowledge and experiences and offers innovative and effective educational opportunities.
Professor Kim Jang-gyeom said, "For those who have been interested but hesitant to approach a specific field due to lack of time, I hope they can experience the field more easily and enjoyably through K-MOOC courses."
