MEGABOX Cheonan Branch (hereinafter MEGABOX) will complete its renovation and welcome audiences on March 9, with all theater seats and projectors replaced.
MEGABOX Cheonan Branch is located in Centheim Plaza, Dujeong-dong, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and marked its renewal opening on Saturday, March 9, 2024, with 9 theaters and a total of 993 seats. All seats have been replaced with the latest comfort seats, and BARCO laser projectors have been introduced in all theaters, providing customers visiting the cinema with a cleaner and more comfortable viewing environment along with clear and bright images.
The Comfort Theater at MEGABOX Cheonan features wider left and right seat sizes called ‘Wide Seat’ and personal tables, allowing viewers to enjoy the emotional impact of movies more comfortably and cozily. Additionally, for customer convenience, popcorn cup holders have been installed between seats for easier use.
The BARCO laser projector boasts a brightness of 35,000 lumens, which is more than three times clearer and richer in color than before, offering upgraded image quality so that movies can be enjoyed in an optimal environment.
Furthermore, to enhance customer convenience with a sleek and refreshed look, the entire theater entrance, floor, and theater lighting interior have been neatly renovated. Despite all these upgrades, the cinema plans to operate at a reasonable price, discounted by 2,000 KRW from the previous rates, with weekday adult tickets priced at 12,000 KRW and weekend tickets at 13,000 KRW.
