Seoul's First Autonomous District Expands Coverage for Mutual Aid Products Compensation
Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seong-heon) announced on the 7th that from this month, the coverage for accidents occurring at local daycare centers has been expanded from the existing enrolled infants and toddlers to include childcare staff and visitors to the daycare centers.
In particular, through a special clause for the protection of childcare staff rights, if childcare staff are unjustly sued or accused due to incidents occurring during work, they will be able to receive compensation for attorney fees and other costs, which is expected to help protect their rights.
This enhancement of coverage is the first among autonomous districts in Seoul. To this end, the district added special clause items when subscribing to the 'Daycare Center Safety Mutual Aid Association' product.
The existing compensation items cover life and bodily injury of infants and toddlers and sudden infant death syndrome, while the newly added mutual aid items include ▲third-party medical expense special clause ▲childcare companion liability coverage special clause ▲childcare staff rights protection special clause (criminal defense cost special clause) ▲childcare staff injury compensation.
