Holding a Meeting of the Executive Board of the Korea Accelerator Association

The Korea Accelerator Association announced on the 7th that it held a meeting of the Korea Accelerator Association's executive board at the Chosun Palace Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and that it will bring innovation to the early investment ecosystem through integration with the Korea Early Investment Institutions Association.

In his welcoming speech, Jeon Hwa-seong, president of the Korea AC Association, said, "We will lead the development of the early investment ecosystem through investment activation, expansion of the incubation market, and global advancement," adding, "We will take a leap forward for the progress of the AC industry, starting with the integration with the Korea Early Investment Institutions Association."


Prior to the meeting, the Korea Accelerator Association held a signing ceremony for the integration agreement with the Korea Early Investment Institutions Association.


Taking this integration initiative as an opportunity, the association plans to create an environment that can lead the early investment ecosystem in a positive and developmental direction.


In particular, the association officially proposed to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to transfer the following tasks to the integrated association: ▲pre-verification and management tasks for startup planner registration ▲professional personnel certification tasks ▲management tasks of personal investment associations by startup planners.


Additionally, the association plans to carry out activities through subcommittees centered on the association's executive team: ▲Investment Activation Subcommittee ▲Incubation Market Expansion Subcommittee ▲Global Cooperation Subcommittee ▲Association Integration and Base Securing Subcommittee ▲Regional Startup Ecosystem Activation Subcommittee.


The Investment Activation Subcommittee includes Vice Presidents Bae Sang-seung (New Paradigm Investment), Hong Jong-cheol (Infobank iExcel), Directors Ahn Chang-joo (N-SL Partners), Lee Seung-ho (Daily Partners), and Han Sang-yeop (Sopoong Ventures). The Incubation Market Expansion Subcommittee includes Vice Presidents Yang Kyung-jun (Crypton), Kim Kyung-rak (Pacemakers), Kim Jeong-tae (MY Social Company), Directors Kim Yoo-jin (SparkLabs), Bae Soon-gu (Darae Strategic Business Center), and Heo Je (N15 Partners).


The Global Cooperation Subcommittee includes Vice Presidents Hwang Byung-seon (Big Bang Angels), Kim Jin-young (The Invention Lab), Jung Jin-dong (King Go Spring), Directors Son Mi-kyung (Gen Axis), Jung Ju-yong (Vision Venture Partners), and Park Jae-hyun (Tap Angel Partners). The Regional Activation Subcommittee includes Vice President So Jae-moon (K Accelerator) and Director Park Joon-sang (Series Ventures). For association integration and base securing, Vice President Myung Seung-eun (Venture Square) and Director Shin Hyang-sook (SS2 Investment) will cooperate.
