Gwangyang City Provides Up to 2.4 Million Won in Housing Support for Young Employed Workers

18~45-Year-Old Young Workers and Business Owners?

Gwangyang City in Jeollanam-do announced that it will recruit candidates for the 2024 Youth Employment Housing Cost Support Project from the 11th to the 22nd of this month.


The Youth Employment Housing Cost Support Project is a program that provides housing cost support of 200,000 KRW per month for up to 12 months, totaling 2.4 million KRW, to young people living in jeonse or monthly rental housing to ensure their housing stability.

This year, 53 people will be recruited, and if there are many applicants, those who meet all eligibility requirements will be selected in order of lowest household income recognition amount.


Eligibility requires young workers and business owners aged 18 to 45 with a registered address in Gwangyang City, whose household income recognition amount is 150% or less of the median income standard, and who are non-homeowners living in housing with a jeonse loan of 50 million KRW or more or monthly rent of 600,000 KRW or less.


Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria as of the application date. Those excluded from applying include ▲low-income housing benefit recipients ▲public officials and public employees working for national and local governments ▲housing-related financial support recipients (fund loans) ▲recipients of similar housing-related government or local government projects.


Eligible applicants who wish to apply should prepare the required documents and visit their local eup, myeon, or dong office to submit their application between the 11th and 22nd of this month.
