Company Donates Matching Employee Contributions
19 Years Running... Delivered to 105 Social Welfare Centers
Amorepacific announced on the 7th that through its employee sharing campaign "Matching Gift," which has been ongoing for 19 years, it donated 118.5 million KRW to 105 organizations.
The Matching Gift program is a system where the company donates an amount equal to the employees' donations. Each year, at the time of year-end tax settlement, employees submit their previous year's donation records to apply, and the company donates the same amount to the respective organizations.
This year, donations from about 170 Amorepacific employees were delivered to a total of 105 social welfare organizations, including World Vision, Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, UNICEF, and Korea Compassion.
Lee Sang-ho, Executive Director of Amorepacific's Communications Office, said, "The Matching Gift, in which employees voluntarily participate, is a more meaningful sharing because the company joins in the employees' donations," adding, "Amorepacific plans to continue activities that make the world more beautiful together with its employees."
