The training focuses on disaster safety education regarding earthquake and flood response actions, as well as fire safety, including fire reporting, fire suppression, and smoke evacuation.

To minimize work disruption in all departments and township offices, the training is conducted over five days with one-fifth of each department's staff participating each day.

A public official who participated in the training commented, “Participating in the actual safety experience training provided a valuable opportunity to physically learn how to respond during a fire incident.”

County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol stated, “Various fire accidents are occurring frequently nationwide, so it is more important than anything to acquire response skills in advance for disaster and accident situations. Through this training, I hope that public officials’ response capabilities to disaster incidents will always be enhanced, reducing human and property damage for our residents.”
