A story has emerged about a neighbor who suffered a 'door lock sauce attack' due to parking disputes, sparking controversy.

Parking Conflict Leads to Sauce Terror on Neighbor's Door Lock: "It's a House with a 100-Day-Old Baby" A neighbor who had an argument over a parking issue was seen leaving sauce splattered on Mr. A's door lock.

On the 5th, a post titled 'Door Lock Sauce Attack' was uploaded to an online community, attracting attention. The author, Mr. A, began by saying, "I went out today and when I came back, the door lock was covered in sauce." In the photo Mr. A posted along with the text, the front door lock is seen smeared with a sauce that has an orange hue.

Mr. A immediately checked the elevator CCTV footage around the estimated time of the incident and was shocked. The culprit of the sauce attack was a neighbor living upstairs. Mr. A said, "About a month ago, the resident (who did the sauce attack) kept parking in front of the shared entrance even though there were other parking spots available. I pointed out, 'What are you doing just for your own convenience?' and I think that was the cause."

However, despite Mr. A's objections, the neighbor continued to park in front of the shared entrance. When Mr. A confronted the neighbor, asking, "Why do you keep parking like this?" the resident responded, "There are no parking spots, and I leave early at 8 a.m., so I parked in front of the shared entrance." Mr. A said, "That resident checked the floor and location of my home and seems to have committed this act a month later. Only my 100-day-old baby and the baby's mother are home during the day. What should I do if this happens again?" he asked for advice.

Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as, "It seems like a person who never admits their fault," "Expressing anger like that between neighbors crosses the line," "It would be best to be cautious for a while since we don't know what kind of retaliation might come after the sauce attack," "There are all kinds of people," and "It might be good to put up a notice in the elevator saying 'CCTV footage has been checked, apologize.'"

Meanwhile, incidents of neighbors attacking front doors, homes, and vehicles with sauce, feces, garbage, and other substances due to disputes have been occurring repeatedly. In July last year, a neighbor involved in disputes over noise between floors was reported to have smeared various sauces like gochujang on the doorknob of the adjacent house multiple times, causing controversy. The culprit, Mr. B, explained, "I heard that some neighbors actually threw feces at the next door, so in a fit of anger, I smeared something that looked as similar as possible to that." In February, a man in his 40s who assaulted a neighbor and sprayed a liquid presumed to be urine dozens of times in front of the neighbor's door was sentenced to prison.
