‘Team Reboot,’ a faculty startup company from Pukyong National University (CEO Professor Choi Seongcheol), and KLCSM (CEO Kwon Ogil) have signed a strategic agreement for the digital transformation (DX) of the shipping and port industry.
Team Reboot, a leading company in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and KLCSM, a leading domestic ship management company, agreed through this partnership to promote various AI automation projects in the shipping and ship industry and to strive for continuous cooperation and industrial development.
Team Reboot’s ‘askyour.work,’ introduced to KLCSM through this agreement, is a solution developed based on large language models (LLM) and optical character recognition (OCR) technology, expected to revolutionize the first project with KLCSM, the automation of voucher processing tasks.
‘askyour.work’ is a generative AI-based service that automates simple repetitive work processes, reduces human errors, and maximizes efficiency. It will be customized and provided to fit KLCSM’s existing systems and work processes.
Through this agreement, the two companies are expected to combine their accumulated technology and experience in their respective fields to develop and expand sustainable AI automated office systems for the shipping industry.
CEO Kwon Ogil of KLCSM expressed, “This agreement is an important step toward realizing the changes generative AI will bring to the shipping and ship industry, and it will further enhance the efficiency of ship operations.”
CEO Choi Seongcheol of Team Reboot said, “Through this joint cooperation, we will do our best to successfully carry out the project and swiftly introduce generative AI to the future marine and ship industry.”
Team Reboot, a faculty startup company, has rapidly grown by securing research and development (R&D) funding from related institutions in Busan, such as the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, Busan Technopark, and Korea Technology Finance Corporation, since its first year of establishment. Additionally, it plans to launch the beta version of another service, ‘askyour.trade,’ a mailing platform specialized in trade, in April.
