Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, On-site Discussion of the Integrated Defense Committee with the 56th Division

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, conducted an integrated defense drill on the morning of the 4th with the 56th Infantry Division (Division Commander Park Jin-hee) in response to the South Korea-U.S. joint exercise "Freedom Shield (FS)".

On that day, Mayor Park Gang-su and the 56th Infantry Division shared the training plan through an on-site discussion of the Integrated Defense Committee.

Afterwards, they checked the AI Crowd Density System and AI Underground Passage Blockage System at the Mapo District Office Disaster and Safety Situation Room to prepare for disasters, then moved to the military command post to observe the training situation.

Mayor Park Gang-su stated, "Establishing a security posture around the Korean Peninsula is more important than ever," and added, "Through this training, Mapo District will establish a cooperative system among related organizations and lay a solid foundation for national security."
