Uiryeong Office of Education Holds Inauguration Ceremony for 33rd Superintendent Kwon Soon-hee

"I Will Take the Lead in Supporting Policies for Shared Education and Ecological Transition Education Practices"

On the 4th, the Uiryeong Office of Education in Gyeongnam held the inauguration ceremony of the 33rd Superintendent Kwon Soon-hee in the main conference room of the Uiryeong Office of Education.

Superintendent Kwon Soon-hee began her teaching career in March 1988 in Ulsan and Miryang, and after 27 years and 6 months of teaching, she started a new professional career at the Uiryeong Office of Education in 2010. After 14 years, she was inaugurated as the Superintendent of the Uiryeong Office of Education.

In her inaugural speech, Superintendent Kwon said, “I feel renewed returning to the Uiryeong Office of Education where I started my first professional career. From now on, I will focus all policies on schools, create a healthy and safe educational environment, and take the lead in establishing shared education in Uiryeong and supporting policies for ecological transition education.”

Superintendent Kwon added, “If all the staff members of Uiryeong, not just myself, work together, we will surely be able to make the Uiryeong education, which was built by the predecessors in the education sector who walked ahead, more solid and brilliant.”

Additionally, through the reading of the ‘Integrity Practice Pledge’ and an integrity handshake, they reaffirmed their commitment to practicing integrity, followed by a visit to the Chung Hon Tower and Chung Iksa Shrine to reflect on the patriotic spirit of the national martyrs.
