Lotte Biologics announced on the 4th that it will conduct open recruitment for experienced and new employees four times a year, once each quarter in 2024, to secure bio-specialized personnel and expand youth employment. The total recruitment scale is in the 'triple digits,' with experienced employee recruitment taking place in January, April, July, and October, and new employee recruitment in March, June, September, and December. Depending on demand, the recruitment scale and announcement schedule may be flexibly adjusted.
The company explained that this year's recruitment aims to reduce the recruitment lead time and provide multiple employment opportunities to job seekers. Additionally, by securing stability and predictability in the recruitment market, it is expected to offer potential applicants sufficient preparation time and convenience.
In particular, starting this year, new employee recruitment will be conducted by job function rather than integrated job categories to cultivate specialized talents with the competencies required for each role. The recruitment this month targets a total of seven job functions, including three in engineering: ▲Process, Equipment, Mechanical Design ▲Electrical, Control Design, Automation ▲Safety, Environment, as well as ▲Quality Assurance ▲GMP IT Systems ▲Global Business Development ▲Human Resources Support. Anyone holding a bachelor's degree, including those expected to graduate in August, and without any restrictions on overseas travel, can apply. Applications will be accepted from the 5th to the 17th on the Lotte Group recruitment website. After document screening, online aptitude tests (LIST/L-TAB), interviews, and recruitment medical examinations, the final successful candidates will join the company in May.
Lotte Biologics continues its efforts to resolve manpower shortages in the bio industry and create youth jobs. Since August last year, it has been operating an 'Open Innovation Internship' program that allows anyone to freely apply for any job regardless of gender, nationality, age, education, or career restrictions. Successful candidates gain hands-on experience not only in their roles but also in Lotte Biologics' business sectors, and outstanding interns receive benefits during the recruitment process. In November last year, the company also conducted its first-ever open recruitment for new university graduates since its founding, which attracted significant interest and a high competition rate.
A Lotte Biologics official stated, “Through the announcement of this year’s recruitment plan, we aim to enhance transparency and predictability of recruitment information and actively respond to the government’s job creation policies. Moreover, through the Open Innovation Internship, which accepts applications continuously, we are looking for talents to work across all job functions regardless of gender, nationality, age, education, or career background. We encourage active participation from many applicants, including women with career interruptions, middle-aged individuals, and foreigners.”
