WiseAI Secures 10 Billion KRW Series B Funding to Accelerate AI Business

Wise AI, a specialized artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, has been recognized for its high growth potential and successfully raised approximately 10 billion KRW in a Series B funding round. Wise AI announced on the 4th that it will issue convertible bonds (CB) worth 10 billion KRW to major domestic investment institutions and venture capital (VC) firms.

The investment round included ▲ IBK-BNW Industrial Competitiveness Growth Support Private Equity Partnership (a joint venture between IBK Industrial Bank and BNW Investment) ▲ Q Capital Investment ▲ SJ GB ESG Innovation Fund. The company explained that the successful fundraising was due to various visible achievements in corporate growth both internally and externally since last year.

Wise AI achieved more than double the performance growth compared to the previous year. This was largely due to the significant expansion of adoption of its flagship service, the AI customer center platform ‘SSAM’. Additionally, Wise AI was selected as a Baby Unicorn 200 in June and recently received the highest technology evaluation grade, ‘TI-1’.

Wise AI plans to use the funds raised this time for ▲ advancing AI technology ▲ expanding new businesses ▲ marketing expenses for domestic and international market entry. The company plans to launch a total of four new AI solutions within this year alone. It is expected that the development and commercialization speed of related services will gain momentum through this investment.

This year, Wise AI will introduce four new AI solutions: ▲ AI marketing platform ‘AiU’ ▲ AI internet phone ‘AiME’ ▲ AI sales platform ‘AiMING’ ▲ AI dementia caregiving service ‘AiME Alpha’.

Song Hyung-seok, CEO of Wise AI, said, “We are expanding AI services beyond the medical field by partnering and collaborating with various companies such as GS Neotek, WhoIs, NHN KCP, and CareLabs.” He added, “Although we are already maintaining stable profitability, we proceeded with this fundraising to accelerate growth.”

He continued, “With the secured funds, Wise AI will further strengthen its AI service lineup and proceed with planned global market entry as scheduled to become a global AI company.” He added, “Ultimately, we aim to be a company that contributes to society based on AI technology.”
