Lotte Group announced on the 4th that it will introduce the group’s integrated recruitment system for new employees called 'Predictable Rolling Recruitment' starting this year.


Predictable Rolling Recruitment is a system that aligns recruitment schedules across affiliates to simultaneously conduct new employee hiring in March, June, September, and December. On the 5th, 10 affiliates including Lotte Chemical, Lotte Biologics, and Lotte Hotel will begin recruiting on the Lotte Group’s integrated recruitment page.

In 2021, Lotte abolished the open recruitment system and introduced rolling recruitment for the first time. While rolling recruitment has the advantage of selecting personnel suitable for the job as needed, job seekers had the inconvenience of having to frequently check the recruitment site for job postings.


In fact, a survey conducted on job seekers by a recruitment site showed that 86% of respondents found it inconvenient to prepare for employment because 'job postings are unpredictable.' Additionally, 88.1% answered that the introduction of predictable rolling recruitment would help them prepare for employment.


Through predictable rolling recruitment, which complements the shortcomings of the existing rolling recruitment system, Lotte has created an environment where applicants can anticipate recruitment periods and prepare for joining the company. Job seekers can check all affiliates currently recruiting at once by accessing the Lotte Group’s integrated recruitment page every March, June, September, and December. The quarterly recruitment schedule will be flexibly adjusted considering the academic calendar of prospective graduates.


The revised recruitment system also has the advantage for the company of conducting new employee recruitment on a scheduled timeline, allowing systematic preparation of training programs such as onboarding and mentoring.


As Lotte integrates recruitment schedules across affiliates, it will also strengthen promotion efforts to secure new talent. A recruitment fair visiting major universities will be held until the 7th. On-site, job experts and HR personnel from each affiliate will participate to provide job and admission-related consultations to university students visiting the booths.


A Lotte representative said, "The predictable rolling recruitment system is a system that further enhances convenience for applicants," adding, "We expect to secure various outstanding talents through the improved rolling recruitment system compared to before."
