Lowest Morning Temperature on Saturday the 2nd: '-11'

On Saturday the 2nd, temperatures will be low nationwide with strong winds blowing.

Morning temperatures are forecasted to drop by 2 to 8 degrees compared to the previous day, with areas such as northern and southeastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk experiencing temperatures below -10°C, while most other regions will be below -5°C.

The morning low temperatures will range from -11°C to -1°C, and the daytime high temperatures will be between 3°C and 7°C, which is lower than the average (morning lows -5°C to 4°C, daytime highs 7°C to 12°C).

Until morning, rain or snow is expected in Jeju Island, and snow will fall in the southwestern part of Jeonbuk and the western Jeonnam region. From the afternoon, snow is expected in eastern Gyeonggi and Yeongseo in Gangwon, and from late night to the morning of the 3rd, snow may fall in Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk.

Estimated snowfall amounts due to the temperature difference between sea surface and air (thermal difference) are around 1 cm in Gwangju, western Jeonnam, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; about 1 cm in southwestern Jeonbuk; 2 to 7 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island; 1 to 5 cm in the mid-mountain areas of Jeju Island; and 1 cm in northern Jeju Island.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Bad' in Incheon and 'Good' to 'Moderate' in other regions. However, Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Yeongseo in Gangwon are forecasted to have 'Bad' levels at night.
