According to Yonhap News on the 29th, around 5 p.m., on a six-lane road in Bulgwang-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, an SUV struck eight vehicles and a pedestrian in their 70s consecutively, causing the pedestrian in their 70s to die and 13 people to be injured.
According to the police, five of the injured were transported to the hospital, and some received first aid at the scene. The vehicles hit by the SUV included seven passenger cars and one motorcycle.
A police official stated, "It is understood that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol," and added, "The exact circumstances of the accident are under investigation."
