BNK Busan Bank Holds Launch Ceremony for 'Hospital Safe Companion Service'

Applications Open from March... For Single-Person Households Facing Difficulties in Hospital Use and Mobility

On the afternoon of the 29th, BNK Busan Bank held a launch ceremony for the ‘Hospital Safe Companion Service’ at Busan City Hall, together with Sejeong Group and the Busan Community Chest of Korea.

The Hospital Safe Companion Service support project is aimed at single-person households in the Busan area who have difficulty using hospitals, providing assistance with hospital transportation and companion service vehicles.


Busan Bank and Sejeong Group will each provide five Hospital Safe Companion vehicles, totaling 10 vehicles, to local self-sufficiency centers to address gaps in community care. Service applications can be made through eup, myeon, and dong community service centers starting from March this year, and users can utilize the service up to 12 times annually, with each use based on a 4-hour session.


Bang Seong-bin, President of Busan Bank, stated, “We hope that patients in need can receive medical services quickly and safely,” and added, “We will continue to carry out social contribution projects that help create a Busan without welfare blind spots through cooperation with local organizations.”


Busan Bank is engaged in various sharing projects to improve local welfare, including ▲home repair projects for vulnerable groups ▲support projects for pediatric and adolescent emergency medical systems ▲BNK Happiness Scholarship, among others.
