The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency launched the 'Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Safety and Health Win-Win Cooperation Project' last year. This project was established to have large and small-medium enterprises voluntarily unite to close the gap in safety and health levels, practice risk assessment-centered safety and health win-win solutions, and for the government to provide technical and financial support and discover and spread excellent models.

Dongkuk Steel Group has participated in this project since its inception. The group formed a company-wide 'Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Win-Win Cooperation Project Promotion Organization' and collaborated with professional consulting firms to support the establishment of safety and health management systems for about 30 partner companies across all business sites in Incheon, Pohang, Dangjin, and Busan.

Byun Hong-yeol, Head of Planning at Dongkuk Steel, said, "We plan to prioritize safety in our management activities and strengthen competitiveness through safety and health win-win cooperation with local partner companies. We will do our best to spread a safety culture."
