Jeong Yura, Assemblyman An Minseok's 'Cutoff' with "ㅋㅋㅋ"
"Heading off a cliff before I could even take them along"
Jung Yura, the daughter of Choi Seo-won (formerly Choi Soon-sil), expressed joy upon hearing the news that Ahn Min-seok, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, was effectively cut off (excluded from nomination) in his own constituency of Osan, Gyeonggi Province.

On the 28th, Jung posted multiple consonants "kieuk (ㅋ)" on her social media (SNS) along with a screenshot of a news report announcing the Democratic Party’s nomination news related to Ahn. The captured news report was titled "Democratic Party selects Ahn Min-seok and Hong Young-pyo as strategic districts... Gwak Sang-eon nominated for Jongno." Jung also posted Ahn’s statement that he left on his Facebook page.

Jung sarcastically said, "I was trying to play the role of Nongae-style water ghost against Ahn Min-seok," adding, "Before I could even take him along, (Lee Jae-myung) pushed him off a cliff. Yura is bewildered." Previously, Jung had posted messages such as "I will run as an independent in Osan to defeat Ahn," "I have no goal to complete the race, I just want to follow Ahn Min-seok and make sure he loses," and "I am solely aiming for Ahn Min-seok’s defeat in Osan."
Meanwhile, on the 29th, the Democratic Party of Korea excluded Ahn from the nomination. Ahn Kyu-baek, chairman of the Democratic Party’s Strategic Nomination Committee, announced, "We recommend lawyer Kim Nam-geun, the 10th recruited talent, for Seongbuk-eul in Seoul, and Professor Cha Ji-ho from KAIST, the 25th recruited talent, for Osan in Gyeonggi." This can be interpreted as excluding the incumbent Ahn from nomination in Osan.
In response, Ahn expressed strong regret and urged the party to give him a chance to compete in a primary. On his SNS, he stated, "The decision to designate Osan-eul as a strategic district and hand it over to the Strategic Nomination Committee is very wrong," and added, "They should not force me to sacrifice myself just because I am 'pro-Lee'." He continued, "If they try to impose a strategic nomination in Osan without a primary, victory cannot be guaranteed," and "Even if the election were held tomorrow, I, Ahn Min-seok, am confident of a landslide victory in Osan. I strongly request the party’s Strategic Nomination Committee to give me and the Osan party members a chance to compete in a primary."
