No-Brand Hamburgers with 'Gaseongbi' Also Raise Prices... Over 30 Varieties, Average Increase of 3.1%

Shinsegae Food stated that due to increasing costs for operating No Brand Burger stores, such as raw material costs, auxiliary material costs, logistics costs, labor costs, and public utility fees, it was unavoidable to raise prices by 100 to 400 won to preserve franchisees' profits. With this adjustment, the price of the representative menu item, NBB Signature (single item), will be changed from 4,400 won to 4,800 won.

However, Shinsegae Food will minimize the burden on customers by maintaining the prices of value-for-money menus such as Grilled Bulgogi and Jjajang Burger at the 2,000 won range for single items (2,900 won) and the 4,000 won range for sets (4,900 won). Additionally, the prices of four popular items, including Megabyte, will not be increased.

A Shinsegae Food official said, “Although we had to adjust prices to preserve franchisees' profits due to rising various costs associated with operating No Brand Burger stores, we minimized the price increase to reduce the burden on customers. Moving forward, we will enhance operational methods that can improve the headquarters' purchasing competitiveness and store operation efficiency so that consumers can enjoy the value-for-money concept of No Brand Burger.”
