Shinsegae International's luxury cosmetics brand Poiret is making a challenge in the North American market, the world's largest cosmetics market.
Poiret announced on the 28th that it will participate as the official global partner of the art fair 'FRIEZE LA 2024,' held in Los Angeles, USA, from February 29 to March 3.

Poiret will operate an exclusive Poiret lounge at Santa Monica Airport, where the art fair is held, and plans to promote the brand to art lovers, VIPs, and visitors from around the world.
Poiret made its global market debut through 'FRIEZE London 2023,' held in the UK last October. In fact, Poiret explained that after participating in FRIEZE London, global VIP customers and industry insiders showed great interest in Poiret. It also succeeded in raising brand awareness, with inquiries for entry from major department stores in Europe continuing.
Poiret is collaborating with French female artist Laure Prouvost. Laure Prouvost transformed the Poiret lounge into a space for the ecological charity activity 'OUI GROW,' aiming to express freedom and solidarity with nature. She also presented a specially made hand-painted edition work limited to 100 sets for Poiret, allowing visitors to naturally participate in the OUI GROW donation.
Visitors can relax while enjoying the video (Monteverdi Ici, 2018) capturing the inherent beauty of nature in the exhibition space specially created by the artist inside the lounge. This video, filmed in Monteverdi, a resort in the Tuscan countryside of Italy, shows the artist sitting naked in nature, with images of leaves, flowers, and insects interwoven.
The Poiret lounge will also exhibit the brand's carefully selected skincare collection. Centered on the elasticity line 'Absolift,' products that highlight technology and artistry will be showcased.
The main products for managing skin elasticity include ▲Absolift Cr?me (cream) ▲Absolift Lotion (toner) ▲Absolift S?rum D?jou (eye serum). In addition, visitors can also experience the brand's representative makeup products such as Teint Velours (foundation) and Rouge Poiret Clair (lipstick).
By participating in the FRIEZE event held in LA following London, Poiret expects to enhance brand awareness in the US and lay the foundation for global expansion. A Shinsegae International official said, "Poiret is a niche luxury beauty brand that boldly reinterprets the value of timeless beauty," adding, "We plan to focus on conveying Poiret's artistic value and heritage and building brand awareness."
